The third party workflow allows external users to access a very limited version of DotApprove.  

The only function a third party user would be able to undertake would be reviewing and uploading content into the job bag via the approval screen.

Third party workflows are mainly used for external designers or translators as it keeps all documentation and comments within DotApprove while only allowing them to access a particular workflow. 

 Instead of adding approvers and reviewers to a workflow, you will add internal or external designers in this case. Furthermore, the document is not be sent for approval, it is sent to be designed and uploaded. 

The workflow owner would send out a document to be designed and in response, the designer will upload the new document along with their comments. 

This feature is an additional cost to your current DotApprove system.
