Resetting a user's password

An Administrator can reset user passwords. 

 

Users can reset their own passwords and an Administrator can also do this for them. Users trying to login with the incorrect details three times can be locked out of their accounts. To see how to unlock a user's account please click here.

 

Resetting a user's password can be done in four easy steps. 

 

Step 1: Within the User Management area on the 'Home' tab search for the user. 

 

Step 2: Select 'Reset User's Password' from the drop down beside the user's name.

 

Step 3: Select 'Reset' and 'OK'.

 

Step 4: The password has now been sent to the user. Click 'Close'. 

 

 

The user will receive an email with a temporary password.
